TORRES, Aaron M.
Aaron M. Torres, 26, formerly of both South Windsor and Glastonbury, Connecticut, was found deceased in East Hampton, New York. Missing and continually searched for during the previous eighteen months, Aaron is now at peace and at long last... 'home'. Although it is not known how his final days were spent, it is known that most of his days were lived, surrounded by the love of those he leaves behind: his adored mother, Margarita Torres Culliton of Hartford, his beloved father, Hector Torres of Virginia, his loving grandparents of Puerto Rico, his aunts and uncles of New York, and his many relatives. Aaron grew up in South Windsor and Glastonbury; proudly graduated from Glastonbury High School. He was an avid snowboarder and thoroughly enjoyed his winter jaunts to Vermont. In his school and activities, Aaron was quickly noticed for his lively spirit and generous heart - a smile for every guy and two for every girl. Aaron enjoyed spending time with animals and prior to the onset of his illness, wanted to pursue a career as a veterinarian. He spent much time with his cherished relatives in Puerto Rico and New York, always bringing excitement to any family gathering. Aaron, as a toddler, then as a boy, and later as a young man was treasured by his devoted parents, loving family and friends; he will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace, and as he always said to his Mom…" Bye, I love you ".
A Memorial Tribute will be held September 25, 2011, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford. Margarita,
It breaks my heart to hear of Aaron's passing. I wish that I could have known him. Your courage, devotion and tenacity for all these years, and most especially these past 18 months as you searched and never gave up, leave me in awe of your strength, and will always inspire me. Aaron was so loved, and always will be. And so are you. On behalf of all of the Aaron's,, and all of the families that fight for their children to get the care they need and deserve, thank you. We are forever in your debt. My thoughts are with you, and with your family.

I can't imagine what you have been going through all this time. It must have been very difficult for you. I am very sad for you - I hope that knowing where he is now is at least some comfort to you and your family.
