Dearest Cohn/Kaplan Family,
It is rare that a whole family, each individual, touches the life of another whole family, but you all in your own ways have done this for me and my family. As parents your undying love and support of your children have been remarkable for me and Scott to try to emulate; and, Zach, your friendship and loyalty to Alex has always inspired me to cultivate the same in my girls. We are with you in this journey as you have been with us in ours.
with love and friendship,

I went to school with Alex and my sister and him were very good friends. The only times I socialized with Alex was when he was at our house and we would either watch something on the T.V. or play a game together. Also he would say hi to me in the hallways. I wasn't close with Alex and I am still so sad that he has passed away. He filled all of our hearts with joy and he put on a smile on the faces of everyone he passed. I hope he is skiing up in heaven. R.I.P. Alex. I am so sorry for your loss.
