To The Halstead Family,

I've known Charles, Allen, Michelle all of my life, we all went to school together many years ago. I remember growing up I could like of my back porch and see your house on Martin Street, that's how far back. I know it can be rough during times of bereavement; just hold on to God's unchanging hand and he will be all that you'll need. May God's love give you the comfort your hearts seek. God Bless all of you.

To Aunt Agnes and Family,

I have always regarded you and your children as an extended family to me. Sending this message of condolence is grieving me also. I have been there and know that all of our help comes from the Lord if we trust in Him. God is the answer to the strength you'll need. Remember that you have had many years with Allen and although he is not here physically you still will hear his voice and laughter when you least expect it or when you think of him.

Love and peace to you all,

I wanted to express my sympathy to you in this time of loss. I was your sons 5th grade teacher at Holly Hill Elementary and my wife was a librarian at the Volusia County library in Daytona. I remember your husband as always being concerned about Greg's education, and my wife said your family used the library frequently. We both were sorry to hear of your families loss and wanted to express our feelings.

I worked at Bert Fish Hospital as did Allen. One night I came down very sick and Allen was the only one to come to my rescue by relieving me for the shift. He had no idea how much I appreciated him that night. Super nice person and will be missed by many I'm sure.

To the Halstead Family. I have known and loved your family for a very long time. Alan and my brother Chucky were the best of friends forever. Now they are together again, cutting up I'm sure. My prayers are with you all, for I have walked in your shoes. Lean on God and each other for strength and courage. I may not see you all often but there is much love from my family to yours. May God's peace be with you all. Love, The Smiths - Janice, Gwen, Debbie, Kenny, Shirley, Timmy & Nikki Smith

Allen,

You are the first piece of the pizzle that God has pulled from our family.

I cannot express the emptiness in our lives we are experiencing at this moment.

Somehow I feel your presence looking down on us and saying, "I'm okay, don't worry becuase I'll see you all again."

I, your sister-in-law will miss my right-hand cook and you were always there when I needed you do pitch in for me. I keep saying to myself, "what am I going to do now, I don't have my right-hand cook".

We love you.
