Andy was the greatest
March 22, 2016
Nancy
Our very deepest sympathies to you and your family . We are so blessed to have had you and Andy in our lives. Although we only met a few years ago we became quick friends and will cherish the memories of Andy. Watching him swim like an Olympic athlete inspired us to live life to the fullest . He had more friends in the Florida community than the locals. Everyone loved Andy. A man willing to help anyone. And give so much of himself. He even fixed my squeaky couch when he should have been vacationing.
Please know you are welcome anytime in Florida and we will never forget Andy. Each time we go to the pool or sit on that couch, Andy will be in our hearts.. Andy - Until we meet again, Rest in peace

Dear Nancy:
It was with sadness and dismay, to read of the passing of Andy.
We were classmates, as well as housemate, while at Central. Andy's inquisitive nature kept McCrystal, McPherson and Mordavsky always on their toes.
After we settled down in our positions, I would often chat with Andy, when visiting the School of Technology. Always cordial.
May he be in heaven and not forgotten.

Deepest Sympathy, Nancy and family. Andy was a friend , mentor and colleague. He helped me grow my career at CCSU many times over the many years. Your friendship and hospitality has meant much to us over the years and Nancy and I will miss Andy's presence and laughter at summer clamboils on the Island. Our prayers for you and your family and our deepest condolences.

Just a few years younger than Andy I had to be in one of his first classes a CCSU (then CCSC). While some remember every teacher they ever had, I remember only those who had an impact on me. I remember Andy fondly. He treated students with respect, was curious, and had a great sense of humor.
