Anthony Crescimano Obituary
Anthony (Tony) S. Crescimano, 84, of Middletown, CT, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at the Veteran's Medical Facility in West Haven. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda M. (Mariotti) Crescimano. Born in Middletown, a son of the late Frank Crescimano and Sebastianna (Scirpo) Andre. Anthony was a member of St. Pius X Church in Middletown. Anthony is survived by 7 children, Lynne H. Fitzpatrick, Anthony F. Crescimano, Lisa R. Crescimano-Lee, Sandra D. Cardella, Christopher M. Crescimano, Jolie M. Crescimano-Goss, and Matthew J. Crescimano, Sr., 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Although he cherished all of his grandchildren, he shared a special bond with his firstborn grandchild, Deanna L. Fitzpatrick Showerda. Anthony is also survived by his sister, Francis LaMontagne, and predeceased by his brother, Joseph Crescimano. Anthony was a veteran of the Korean War and later found great success in pursuing many entrepreneurial endeavors and business ventures. He enjoyed winters in Southern California, playing the stock market, and a good meal. His greatest joy was spending time with his large family both in California and back East. Friends and family may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home in Middletown on Thursday, December 1, 2016, from 4 - 7 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 2,2016, at 10 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown. Interment will follow at Wilcox Cemetery in East Berlin. I will remember so many happy times with both Tony and Linda during my lifetime. At the beach house, their homes in Middletown and California. Both of them will be missed but I know that they are together now forever and happy.
