Anthony M. "Tony" DiPace, 62, of Enfield, entered into eternal peace on Saturday January 22, 2022, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 19, 1960 in
Hartford, CT, the son of the late Concetto and Angela DiPace. After the untimely death of his mother in 1963, Tony was raised by Wee and Rose Crowley in Enfield, where he remained a longtime resident. He was a member of the Class of '78 at Fermi High School and later graduated at the top of his class from the United Technical School in
Springfield, MA.. Tony was an ASE Certified Master Mechanic and owned and operated his own automotive business, "Hazardville Motors" in Enfield for 34 years. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending his free time with his son. Tony still found the time to dedicate 40 years to the Enfield Democratic Town Committee. He also served as Chairman of the Committee and was a member of various town boards, commissions, and committees, including serving as Chairman of the Enfield Planning & Zoning Commission. On October 16, 2021 he received The William "Red" Edger, Jr. "Democrat of the Year" Award for his Dedicated Service to the Town of
Enfield, CT. Tony was a communicant of St. Patrick Church and a longtime member of the Mount Carmel Society in Enfield. He is survived by his beloved son, Anthony and his dear friend, Lindsey. He also leaves his brothers and sisters, Carl DiPace, Angela Valente, Valerie Norris, Patrick Crowley , Thomas Stevens, Darrell Crowley Kathy, Kevin Crowley, Cheryl Crowley , Roy Crowley , Benji Ortiz, Robert Ortiz, and Sandra Pouliot; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Frances Coro and Carol DiPace Greene. A special thanks to his brother Pat and his wife, Barbara, who were a tremendous help to during his illness. He was extremely grateful to Elizabeth Davis for organizing a fundraiser and appreciative of the overwhelming love and support that he received from friends and family. Enfield, CT 06082. A procession will gather at the funeral home at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 27, 2022, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl Street,
Enfield, CT 06082 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy may be in the form of memorial donations to the Connecticut Alliance of Foster and Adoptive Families (CAFAF), 2189 Silas Deane Hwy #2,
