I didn't really know him well but enjoyed watching his interactions and generosity with his family as they visited him at his breakfast nook. I have fond memories of our childhood on White St and then when you moved to West Hartford. I remember your dad used to pick me up and bring me to the lake on the weekends so we could hang out. I was only 8 when for some reson Tony took a shine to me, Friend and nieghbor to my parents Tony asked an got permission than took me fishing.After the first trip to the lake were to be many more fishing adventures including days/nights at west hill lake, a few ocean trips, and at least one trip to the hatchery lol. Tony gave to me at such a young age the greatest gift i ever recived, that was Time. for that I am greatful and will always rember Tony as a great man, and good friend. my condolences to his children, family and friends. I will never forget meeting Tony when I was working at Aurellios Cafe what a great time we all had. It was an honor to know him and what a true friend he was to many. Tony was a great and special friend. From my early teens when he would drop off Shad he had caught to my mom and me, and bring me and the rest of memo's friends to Westhill for fishing trips. He and your mother checked in on them all the time and my father was so glad to hear your Dad's stories about Bulkeley High football as my Dad played for Hartford High.
