Arlene Milio Obituary
Arlene D. Milio, 59, of Bristol passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 21, 2014.She was born on January 27, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late Bernard and Eleanor (Wick) Keegan. Arlene was a counselor for CW Resources and a member of the Bristol Choral Society for over 20 years. Arlene loved the Yankees and her family more than anything, and made the world a better place just by being here. She is survived by her husband, Ken Milio; her three sons and a daughter-in-law, Patrick, Timothy and Bryan and Maryellen Milio; her granddaughter Caroline Keegan Milio; her two sisters and brothers-in-law Geraldine and William McBride and Maureen and Terry Newman; several nieces and nephews and her best friends Curt and Marion Landgrebe. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Elizabeth Milio. Calling hours will be held on Monday November 24, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Church, Bristol on Tuesday at 10AM. The burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arlene's memory may be made to either: CCMC NICU, c/o UCONN, 263 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT 06030 or to CW Resources, 200 Myrtle St., New Britain, CT 06053. Dear Ken and family,
We all started on Harvard Place nearly three decades ago. Arlene was a great neighbor. We were always impressed with her dedication to family. It was amazing how she juggled all the sports and activities for her three sons always putting everyone first. Ken, you and the boys will always have cherished memories of a wonderful wife and mom.
