CRONIN, Arthur D.
Arthur D. Cronin, 83, of Somers, CT loving husband of Helen (Phillips) Cronin entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, August 17, 2012, at Evergreen Health Care Center with his wife by his bedside. Arthur was born November 21, 1928, in Worcester, MA the son of the late James and Jennie (Sedaris) Cronin. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. Arthur was an avid Golfer and was a member of the Ellington Ridge Country Club and parishioner of All Saints Church in Somersville. He was the owner and operator of Cronin-Cook Associates in Rockville and retired in 2008. Arthur and Helen would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 22. In addition to his wife Helen he is survived by their two children, Eve Arre and her husband, Christopher of Broad Brook and Louis Cronin of Somers, CT; six grandchildren, Kristen Horvath and Holly and Nicole Cronin, Mikael, Tyler and Dylan Arre and a brother, James Cronin of Auburn, MA.
Relatives and friends can join the family on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., (Rt 190) Somers, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Arthur may be made to the American Lung Assoc. of CT, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108-3272. Very sad to hear of Arthurs passing, I work on the med/surg unit at Johnson Memorial and had not seen Arthur in a longtime and wondered how he was doing. He was such a sweet heart and one of my all time fav patents. Im very sorry for your families loss.
