Benvenuta B. Lostocco

Benvenuta (Battistoni) Lostocco, 90, of Sun City, Arizona, wife of the late Peter L. Lostocco, died Monday August 18th. Born in Castelleto di Brenzone, Italy, on Largo di Garda, daughter of the late Thomaso and Maria Battistoni, she immigrated to the United States with her mother and sister Susie when she was 7 years old. She lived in Avon for most of her youth, moved to Farmington after being married to Peter and lived there until a vacation to sunny Arizona enticed them to move in 1978. She enjoyed many crafts and created numerous pieces that her family has enjoyed through the years. She also enjoyed her many bridge groups, playing 3 or 4 times a week. She leaves one son, Bruce P. Lostocco and his wife Nancy of East Granby CT; one daughter Deborah Francis and her husband Peter of Tucson, AZ; a granddaughter Marie Lostocco of Philadelphia, PA; a grandson Adam Lostocco and his wife Kari of Lexington, KY; a grandson Andrew Francis and his wife Cheryl of Atlanta, GA; a grandson Paul Francis and his wife Ashley of Murfreesboro, TN and a great grandson Kameron Lostocco of Lexington, KY. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main Street, Route 4, Unionville on Monday, August 25th from 9:00 am to 10:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in The Church of St Patrick, Farmington. Burial will be in the family plot at St Joseph Cemetery in Plainville.
