Brian McKeon Obituary

McKEON, Brian W. Brian W. McKeon, 44, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Monday, (April 12, 2004) at Haven Health Care in South Windsor. Brian was a 1977 graduate of Manchester High School and resided in Manchester most of his life. He worked as a carpenter, framer and painter locally for many years. He loved his work, fishing and a good story. He had a wickedly dry sense of humor and will be missed by many friends and his family. He was predeceased by his mother, Carol Hansen McKeon of Manchester. He leaves behind his father, John P. McKeon of South Windsor, his brother and sisters, Dr. John P. McKeon, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Torrington and their children, Kristen, Erin and Mike, Marijean McKeon and her husband, Attorney James Sulick of Manchester; Kathleen McKeon and her husband Cmdr. Fred Beckhan, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL and their children, John Ross and Madeline; Patty McKeon and her fiancee, Mike Hanchett of Thetford Center, VT; his aunt, Jean Ross of Glastonbury; aunt Jean Hansen of East Hartford; Uncle Mill Mason of Wethersfield and many Cousins. He is also survived by two life-long friends, Collin O'Neil and Bill Pillard; and a very special friend, Tracey Green. There will be no calIing hours. There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, April 17 at 9 a.m. at St. James Church in Manchester. Burial will be private. John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester, has charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers Brian's family would ask that those wishing would make a contribution to Hospice and Palliative Care of Connecticut, 111 Founders Plaza, East Hartford, CT, 06108.

It has been many years since i have seen my cousin Brian, but i often wondered how he was doing. im sure now he has comfort and happiness up there with the rest of the family. my thoughts and prayers go out to all my cousins and my uncle john. Love you all , Lori
