Carol S. Kraimer

1935 - 2017

Carol S. (Stockser) Kraimer, 81, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Irving and Evelyn (Abrams) Stockser, she lived in Bloomfield and Windsor many years moving to the Farmington Valley 15 years ago. She had been active in Congregation Beth Ahm and a member of the Sisterhood when in Windsor. She was a scout leader with her children when they were growing up and spent over 20 years as a Medical Office Manager before retiring. She leaves a daughter Beth S. Kraimer and her Yorkshire Terrier Petey with whom she made her home; two sons Alan S. Kraimer and his wife Karen of Marietta, GA, and Scott M. Kraimer of West Hartford; four grandchildren Zachary, Danielle, Chelsea, and Maxwell Kraimer; three sisters Beverly Vigdor of Windsor, Sandra Kaplan of Miami, FL, and Paula Platt and her husband Stephen of Hollywood, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017, 12 Noon directly at Knesseth Israel Cemetery, 95 Maple Street, Ellington. Shiva will be observed Sunday from 3-5 pm at the home of her son Scott, 133 Cliffmore Drive, West Hartford. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
