Catherine Hilaire Obituary

Catherine St. Hilaire (Santangelo) of East Hartford passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 95. Katy grew up between Sicily and Connecticut. She shared her zest for life with everyone she encountered, spending hours on the golf course, playing setback, bingo and poker with friends & family. Wife for 59 years to the late Joseph Armand St.Hilaire. Katie was pre-deceased by sisters, Sara Grasso & Tina Pellitier and brother Vincent Santangelo. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Toni (Lou) Bona of Manchester, Josey St. Hilaire of Ellington and Michelle St. Hilaire of South Windsor. Three grandchildren, Danielle (Fernan) Longano, Carleen (Pete) Oehmsen and Joseph St. Hilaire-Bona, 2 great grandchildren Eli & Shyla Oehmsen. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Katy also leaves a great friend, Debbie Ursin and friends from her former Employer of Nathan & Eisman. Katy was a member of the East Hartford Golf Course for over 50 years so in her honor we will be having a celebration of her life on Monday, August 14 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at The East Hartford, 130 Long Hill Street, East Hartford CT.
