TARBOX, Catherine Catherine (Coughlin) Tarbox, 74, of Enfield, widow of Frederick E. Tarbox who died in 2000, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday (November 14, 2006). She was born March 1, 1932 in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Jerimiah and Catherine (Egan) Coughlin. Catherine was employed as a telephone operator with New England Telephone, SNET, AT&T and Phoenix Mutual retiring in 1997 after many years of dedicated service. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church and a member of The Telephone Pioneers of America. Catherine is survived by her loving family including her three sons: Michael Tarbox and his wife Wendy of Castle Rock, CO; Jerry Tarbox and his wife Michele of Somers; and Daniel Tarbox and his wife Wendy of Ellington; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chris, Allie, Katie, Alex, Paul, and Erin; and a sister Mary Watson of Haverhill, MA. She was predeceased by a daughter MaryAnne Tarbox who died in 1998, and a brother John Coughlin. Family and friends will gather at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road Saturday by 9 a.m. for a funeral procession to St. Bernard Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Somers Center Cemetery. Catherine's family will receive relatives and friends at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, Friday 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Catherine's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 332 No. Lauderdale Memphis, TN 38105. We are deeply sorry for your loss. We know time heals, and it is comforting to know your mom is now in gods hands and will also be with your dad and your sister.
