Cedric E Cohens "Bubby", 79, of Windsor Locks, CT. peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. He was born July 18, 1941 to the late John K. Cohens and Anon Jones Cohens in Hartford, CT. He grew up and was educated in Hartford. After graduating from Weaver High School, he joined the United States Air Force and was Honorably Discharged in 1968. He was most recently employed with and retired from Ahlstrom in Windsor Locks, CT. He would often say, that was the best job he ever had. Cedric enjoyed fishing, cooking, music, and trips to the casino. He enjoyed life, and living on his own terms. He was fiercely independent, hardworking, stubborn, direct and honest. He was also very funny, giving, sensitive, and kind. He loved his family. He leaves to mourn a son, Tyrone Cohens and his wife Waynette; daughters, Candice Cohens and Cassandra Nichols; three granddaughters, Arraya Cohens, Malaysia Sidbury, and Tiana Cohens, as well as two great grandsons. He will also be missed by his two nieces, Mary Alice Ladue (Greensboro, NC) and Michelle Johnson; special cousin, Theresa Goode; best friend and brother, Mr. Paul Miller of Las Vegas, NV; as well as a host of other family and friends.
