Daniel LEVESQUE Obituary

LEVESQUE, Daniel Floryan Daniel Floryan Levesque, 8, of Bristol, son of William J. Levesque and the late Karen (Kaplinski) Pilbin, died on Friday (January 22, 2010) at Bristol Hospital. Daniel was born in Bristol on March 18, 2001, and was in the 3rd grade at Ivy Drive School. In addition to his dad, Daniel is survived by a brother, Erik Levesque of Bristol; a sister, Melissa Pilbin and her father, William Pilbin of Torrington; his paternal grandparents, E. Joseph Levesque of Bristol and Margaret Levesque and Larry Burns of Bristol; two uncles and an aunt, Mark Levesque of Bristol, and Fred and Beth Levesque of Groton; great aunts, Rose Strasburg of Bristol, Katherine Halla of Queenstown, MD, and Fran Milford of Greensboro, NC; several cousins; his lifelong caregiver, Donna Caputo; longtime caregivers, Reanna Spyros and Donna Lozinski, and various caregivers, Elza, Andrew, Marlene, Vilmery, Isaac, and Sherri. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010, at 9 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Gregory Church, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday between 3 and 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106. I am so sorry to hear about Danny's passing. I have no words to ease your pain. I pray that you and your family will seek God's strength to carry on. I will always remember his beautiful eyes and his little flirty way. Allow God to comfort you.

We all know that Daniel laughed when things went wrong. I'm sure he is in heaven having a fine time. It doesn't feel funny here now. Peace to all of us who knew Danny. We love you.
