I've just heard what happened to Dave, and I am so very sorry and send my condolences to his family. I worked with Dave at lowe's and he was such a great man, and always had a funny joke to tell. In the couple years I knew him he changed my life for the better, he was just one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and will never be forgotten!!

Brian and Melissa -
We didn't see him too often, but when we did he always made us laugh. Stories of his practical jokes are legend...we've heard them so many times we feel like we were there. Nobody has ever been able to make our parents, Rich and Lou, laugh as much as your dad did.
We will truly miss him - and his sense of humor - but will continue to tell his stories over and over. Our deepest and most sincere sympathies go out to you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to the Ruot family. I have fond memories of his drumming skills dating back to the CT Royal Lancer days. I believe he was also a rudimental bass drummer with a local Fife & Drum Corps. It was great to march alongside him in 2003 (original Park City Pride exhibitions).
God bless.

Brian, Melissa, Alan, Richard and Mrs. Ruot: Please accept our condolences on the loss of "our brother" David. We go back a long way starting with the Lancers, Hurcs, and the Pride. We have very fond memories of Dave when we were building our house and bought a wheelbarrow from your hardware store. Dave insisted on delivering it right to our lot and proceeded to help with moving cement blocks "just to make sure the wheelbarrow worked properly". He surely was one of the good guys and we will miss him.
