One of the harshest things we will go through in our life is when we lose a loved one, especially one with such a beautiful soul and loving heart. I was very young girl when I first met Debbie. All I remember of that time is how nice she was, but then all of Matante Lena's family was. The last time I saw her, she made a point to tell me how much she and the family appreciated that we came when we lost another wonderful woman, Matante Lena. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated. It's was easy to see how deeply she cared for her entire family. May you take comfort in knowing she loved you all and go forth knowing she will want only the best for you! My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all.....Elaine Dube Holden

To my dear friend,
Life leads us through quite a journey. Something important I've learned during my journey, and from the struggles we all face, is that God never forgets us.
From time to time He throws down little stars for us to catch and those stars are the people we take with us in our hearts throughout our journey. They are the ones we lean on, the ones we learn from and the ones that make us better people just by being in our lives.
Deb, you are one of my most precious little stars. I am truly blessed to have had you in my life and I will continue to keep you safe in my heart always.

I always looked forward to calls from Deb and meeting with her in person on my trips to Ct. One fond memory was an invitation to dine at her home with Ron. I loved meeting her dogs and spending time on the back porch. She loved sharing stories about her family and was very proud of her children. My prayers are with all of you during this time.
