Debra Todte Obituary
Debra L. "Debbie" (Banaeige) Todte, 48, of Manchester, beloved wife of 28 years to Richard K. J. Todte passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. She was born on March 7, 1966 in Manchester, daughter of Frances (Molloy) Banaeige of Manchester and the late Stanley W. Banaeige. She was raised in Manchester and attended Manchester High School, Class of 1984. Debbie was employed with Capitol Moving & Storage of South Windsor as a Relocation Coordinator for the past eight years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all that loved her. In addition to her husband and mother Debbie is survived by her two sons; Erich Todte of East Hartford and Kevin Todte of Manchester, her three sisters and brothers-in-law; Karen and William Sibrinsz of Manchester, Sandra and Brian Begin of Coventry and Lynn and Marc Morhardt of Manchester, her brother-in-law, Robert Todte and his wife, Deborah of Boothbay, ME, her in-laws, Edelgard Todte of Brimfield, MA and Klaus Todte of Germany. She also leaves her nephew, Kurt Sibrinsz and his wife, Rebecca, her niece, Kasey Matson and her husband Jeremy and their family, her nephews, Kyle Todte and Ryan Todte, her best friend Kari Barnard and her family, and her beloved dogs, Mickey and Marty. Calling hours will be held on Monday March 2, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 3rd at 10:30 am at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St. Manchester. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Sista, every year this day comes & it breaks me to pieces. How has almost 9 years gone by without you? You´re still the first thing on my mind the minute I wake up & I believe this will happen for the rest of my life. I miss you so much! I miss our talks, our fun times & mostly I miss your laugh. I have a gazillion videos, photos, memories & voicemails etc..however I just wish you were still here. We were supposed to grow old together and I´m still so lost without you. Over a month has passed now and I think of you always Debbie smile emoticon You are the love of my live. Not a day goes by when I don't think of you and the great life we had, I know I wasn't perfect but I have always tried to be the best husband and father I could possibly be, and to make sure you lived a happy life. I would give anything in this world to have you back in my life, I would trade place in an instant if it meant having you back on this earth to be with Erich and Kevin and where you affected so many other lives. Though family and friends support has been awesome there is still a huge emptiness in my life without you with me at my side. Words can never express how much I Love you and how important you are in my life. We were partners for life and you were my best friend. I will never forget our life together. I will do my best to live the life you would have wanted me to live. I will take care of the boys and make you proud. I know you are watching over us everyday, and some day my time will come and I will be at my "baby cakes" side again. I Love you Debbie and that will never change or go away ever. Debbie had a personality that lit up a room when she walked in. Her contagious laugh and bright smile will always be in my memory. Our childhood days of playing with my sister Kimmy and Amy running in the backyard until the street lights came on while Debbie always kept us laughing.
