Delphis BACON Obituary

BACON, Delphis A. Delphis A. Bacon, 100, loving husband of the late Elvine P. Bacon, entered into eternal peace on (May 25, 2011) at St. Mary Home, West Hartford, CT. He was born December 15, 1910 in Willimantic , CT and lived a life of integrity, dignity, happiness and contribution. Surviving family include his daughters, Jacqueline Warren and spouse Maxwell of Avon , CT , and Pauline Pinard and spouse Roger of Narragansett, RI. He also leaves four grandchildren, Patricia Grillo, Margaret Tatum, Therese White, Richard Newcombe; 9 great-grandchildren, his sister Irene Zimmerman of Branford, CT and several nieces and nephews. Deepest sentiments of gratitude are extended to all who attended to his physical and spiritual needs. Friends and relatives will be received at Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St., Willimantic at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St. , Willimantic. Burial will be held immediately after at St. Joseph cemetery in Windham . Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Home for the benefit of the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy, 2021 Albany Ave. , West Hartford , CT 06117 .
