Dear Mrs. Dalton, Ellen, Elise, Deidre and entire Dalton Family,
I was so sorry to hear that Mr. Dalton passed away. I was in Florida on vacation with my family and was sad that I couldn't attend the wake or funeral. I remember him as the ultimate family man, preferring his children to bring their friends home instead of being elsewhere. Ellen, I think of our days rooming together and think of you often. Hope to see you at some point. Love, Mary Beth

Dear Dalton Family, I am sorry about the loss of your husband, father & grandfather. When I lived on Outlook Ave. I can remember him walking down the street from work to be with his family. I went to school with Fred & Emmet but being in West Hartford I did get a chance to know and meet the entire Dalton family. I know he will be missed by all. You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Ann Dillon: I just learned that Bob has died. I am so sorry. I feel that I have lost a friend, one not seen often, but always met with pleasure. I remember when Bob was young- He was always handsome.-He was co-star to you in your role as Catherine McAuley. I don't think I would have predicted then that fifty-some years, nine children and many, many grandchildren later, I would be using e-mail to tell you and your children and their children of my deep sympathy at the loss of this this great and good husband and father and grand father.
I am here in Florida visiting my brother Don, so I won't be able to be at the wake and funeral. Please know that you are very much in my thoughts. I will be in touch just as soon as I get back to Hartford Sr. Pat Brewer
