YAVOROSKY, Edward J.
Edward J. Yavorosky, 79, of Enfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday, (January 15, 2013), at Kindred Healthcare. Born on April 7, 1933, in Shenandoah, PA, he was the loving son of Antoni and Eva (Kazakevicius) Yavorosky and the loving husband of 56 years to Marlene (Novak) Yavorosky. Edward was formerly employed by Union Carbide/Praxair for 38 years and also worked for Southern Auto Auction. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, during the Korean conflict. Edward was a member of the Enfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed being with his loving grandchildren, going fishing, traveling and working on crossword puzzles with a nice cold glass of Bud. Edward will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Besides his wife Marlene, Ed leaves behind his loving daughters, Cynthia Fosberg and her husband Douglas of Springfield, Lisa Salter and her husband Steven of Suffield, and Stephanie Dabsky and her husband Nathan of Springfield; his sister Joan Sweisford of Norristown, PA; his two sisters-in-law; his loving six grandchildren, Nicholas Fosberg and his wife Kentisha and their daughter Monei, Joseph Fosberg, Justin Dabsky, Zachary Dabsky, Steven Salter, and Tyler Salter, and many nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters, and his granddaughter Gabrielle Salter. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Kindred Care of Enfield, for all their compassion and care to Ed while he was there.
Visitation hours will be on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Burial will be private, at the request of the family. To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at www.leetestevens.com.

I know how you all loved Ed so very much and how much he loved you all back. I remember his warm smile and his hearty laugh. You were blessed to have him in your lives and I know he will be so very missed. I hope your fond memories bring you comfort
