Ernestine Trotta Messer

MESSER, Ernestine Trotta Ernestine Trotta Messer, of Tobias Way, E. Falmouth, MA., wife of Gerald Messer passed away on June 18, 2007 at Falmouth Hospital. Besides her husband , she leaves a daughter, Gail M. Saunders of Simsbury , her husband Kevin Lindsay Saunders, and one grandson, William Gerald Saunders who was the love of her life. She was born in Middletown on August 2, 1927 and was one of seven daughters of the late Louis V. and Aurora (Ricciuti) Trotta. She also leaves her six sisters, Jane T. Satagaj, Rose T. Franco and Jessie A. Trotta, all of Middletown, Emma T. Kuchta of Mansfield Center, Ida T. Pedrolini of Southington and Josephine T. Poliner of East Hampton, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family. Prior to moving to E. Falmouth, she had resided in Bristol, Ct. for many years. She graduated from St. John's School in Middletown and Middletown High School. Calling hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 25th at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Homes ,475 Main St. Falmouth. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A. M. at St. Anthony's Church in E. Falmouth. followed by interment at The Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne.
