Frances SYLVESTER Obituary





SYLVESTER, Frances (Calderoni)

Frances (Calderoni) Sylvester, 79, passed away Saturday, (Dec. 31, 2011) at HCC Bradley Memorial. She was the wife of the late Samuel P. Sylvester. She was born May 17, 1932 in Bristol, the daughter of the late Luciano and Elena (Masci) Calderoni. She retired from Peck Spring in Plainville and was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda O'Donnell and husband John, with whom she had a "unique" relationship with, of Plantsville; granddaughters Erin O'Donnell and her friend Chad Bailey of Glendale, AZ, Katherine O'Donnell-Silva and her husband Christopher of Monterey, CA and Anna O'Donnell and her friend John Mezzanote, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Eric Sylvester and two brothers, Lucian and Umberto Calderoni.
The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church at 10 a.m. for a mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to Children International, 2000 East Red Bridge Rd., P.O. Box 219055, Kansas City, MO 64121.
