Frederick J. Doocy of Manchester, formerly of South Windsor, died on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the age of 104. He was the husband of the late Mary (O'Keefe) Doocy, to whom he was married for 66 years. He was born in Hartford to the late Charles and Alice (Moore) Doocy and was raised in East Hartford. His life-long hobby was raising and racing homing pigeons; he also was an avid vegetable gardener. Fred had many friends at the Arbors Retirement Community where he lived for the past 21 years. He is survived by his children: Virginia Doocy and her husband Robert Mazzone of Lynn, MA; Eileen Doocy Schaubert of Weston, MA; Fred C.
