Garrett Secon Obituary
Born March 18, 1938, son of the late Edward and Katherine (Egan) Secon, died peacefully on April 18, 2016 at home. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by his children and grandchildren: Gregory Secon and fiance Kirstin Williston of Berlin, MD; Paul Secon of Manchester, CT; Susan Skoglund and husband Thomas (children Matthew and Amanda) of Marlborough, CT; and Peggy McNeff and husband Larry (son Sean) of Enfield, CT. He is also survived by his sister Joyce (Secon) Hall of Meriden, CT, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Mike Young for his friendship and support of Gary, and also for the excellent care by the staff of Caring Solutions. Calling hours, along with a memorial service, will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016, from 2-5 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a veterans' organization.
