RANDALL, Harold J. "Heshie" RANDALL, Louise M. Harold J. Randall, 81, affectionately known as "Heshie," and his wife of 49 years, Louise M. Randall, 85, died tragically in an automobile accident on Friday, (August 19, 2005) while visiting cherished relatives in Louise's hometown of Baltimore, MD. Harold and Louise lived much of their lives in Westfield, NJ and Boca Raton, FL. For the past seven years they resided in West Hartford. Harold had a long and illustrious career in the garment industry in New York City, holding such positions as Executive Vice President of Brooks Fashions and later as President of T. Edwards. Louise spent the early years of their marriage raising their daughter Mary Ellen, and giving of her time to many charitable organizations. At her synagogue, Temple Beth Israel of Westfield, she served as the president of the Sisterhood, and chairperson of their annual Art Show. She was also an active member of Hadassah. Louise and Harold enjoyed traveling and spent many happy years in various locations of Europe and the Orient. After retirement, Harold and Louise chose to move to West Hartford to be near their pride and joy, daughter Mary Ellen Diot, their beloved son-in-law Michael, and most importantly, the light of their lives, granddaughters Amanda and Julia. Funeral services will be held TODAY, at Congregation Beth Israel, 701 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, at 2 p.m. Calling hours will be held at the home of Michael and Mary Ellen Diot following services TODAY, continuing through Friday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in memory of Harold and Louise Randall.
