Hazel Richardson Obituary



Hazel Richardson, 68, of Hartford passed away peacefully in her home in Hartford at 3:30 am on Wednesday, October 5th. Born on the island of Trinidad May 10, 1948, she immigrated to the United States in 1977. She made regular trips back to Trinidad to spend time with friends and relatives. For 21 years she worked for the city of Hartford as a member of the planning department where she was involved in community development and revitalization. She was a regular at St. Michael church of Hartford. She is survived by her husband, Ken Richardson, and two sons Shirrod and Mark Richardson. Funeral service will be held at St. Michael, 7 Clark Street, Hartford CT, on Saturday, October 15th.

Every time I entered the planning department, Hazel welcomed me with a smile and pleasant conversation. I am truly blessed to have known her. Keep her memories close to your heart.
