Helen Greenspan Obituary

GREENSPAN, Helen Jaffe Helen Jaffe Greenspan of Virginia Beach, 89, passed away on Saturday, (December 20, 2008). Born in Suffolk of Solomon and Rachel Jaffe, she lived most of her married life in Evergreen Park, IL, where she and her husband, Joseph Greenspan, raised their two boys, Richard and Sol. She worked as a lay person in the public schools, running the science labs and training students. She is survived by her sons, Sol J. Greenspan of Lexington, MA, his wife Pamela Lintula, and their twins David and Rachel; Richard E. Greenspan of Bloomfield, his wife Deborah and daughters Tara and Tracey Greenspan; her brother Gerald C. Jaffe of Virginia Beach; and by many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 23rd at Temple Emanuel Synagogue, 424 25th St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Gifts in Helen's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hdoliver.
