To the Edwards and McGriff family I send my deepest sympathy. Jake and I were classmates at Northeast Jr. High. Jake was always the gentleman, and that smile could lite up a room.

Dear Kelley and Kristin,
We little Knew that morning, that God was going to call his name In life I(we) loved him dearly, and in death I still love him the same. It broke my heart to lose him, he did not go alone; for part of me went with him, the day God called him home. He left me with peaceful memories, his love still my guide; and though I can not see him, he will always be at my side Our family chain has been broken, and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. I still can't believe I didn't get to say good-bye but I'm so glad I got the chance to tell him that I love him because he will always have a special place in my heart.

It is with deep heart felt sympathy that I extend my condolences to the family that has always been a part of me. Having known Jake almost all of his life and the family knowing me almost all of my life, I too share in your loss. Growing up as next door neighbors in Bellevue Square we spent our childhood together. Wayne and Ralph always made sure we connected when I came to Hartford to visit and would make sure we stopped by to say hello to Margaret and Jake. They were so proude of Jake and so was I. I am sorry that I could not personally be in Hartford to extend my condolences and to meet the extended Edwards and McGriff family. However, I will forever keep the family in prayer and will always remember Jake as my younger brother too.
In loving memory and sorrow,

Stephanie Waterman
