James Havens Obituary



James L. Havens, 48, of New Britain, formerly of South Windsor, passed away September 24, 2017 in the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain, after a long illness. He was born in Manchester on February 6, 1969, son of James W. Havens and Angela Case. He attended the Enfield Christian Academy and later South Windsor High School. James loved working outdoors, presently working as a landscaper for Accurate Tree and Landscaping. He had a big heart and loved his children. Besides his parents, James is survived by his ex-wife Victoria Simmons, his children, Nicole Holcomb of Manchester, Tyler Holcomb and Amber of Stafford, Maryssa Holcomb of East Hartford, Cheyanne Havens and Steven Colorado-Diaz of Manchester, Ryan Havens of East Hartford and Natasha Havens of East Hartford. He also leaves his grandchildren, Miyelle, Pops, Rayajha, Syrenity ,Chris. Nyla, and Aniyah. Friends may call Wednesday October 4, 2017 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
