Jane Englehardt Obituary
Jane Elizabeth (Gracie) Englehardt passed away on August 24, 2017. She was the daughter of the late James and Josephine Gracie of Waterbury. Jane was a kindred spirit, communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and an avid reader and beach goer. Jane worked for many years at JCPenney. She is survived by her lifelong husband Edward, daughter Margo, son James, daughter-in-law Kathy, and grandchildren Lindsey, Sarah, and Hunter. There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday August 29th at Our Lady of Peace Campus of St. Edmond Campion Parish in East Hartford. Burial will be private at St. Thomas Cemetery in Thomaston Ct. In lieu of flowers please donate to Masonicare Hospice 111 Founders Plaza suite 200, East Hartford, CT 06108 or your favorite charity. Ed, Margo, James and Family
What can we say? Jane was such a dear friend to us.
We are going to miss her immensely. We had such wonderful
times when we got together. I will always remember
our great lunch or dinner outings. We would not see each
other for a few months and our conversations picked up
where they left off from the previous time. She always knew
when I needed to talk to her. My phone would ring and it
was her. She always had the soothing words for me.
May you rest in peace, Jane, till we meet again.
