My sincere sympathy goes out to the Christ Family. John and I became friends when we worked together many years ago. I was fortunate to sit right next to him every day for a year and not one of those days passed without my laughing at something he said. I just heard the news of his passing and I was filled with regret and sadness that we lost touch years ago. I have thought of him often over the years and always meant to look him up. To those of you reading this; call a long lost friend today, just to say hello. Nuala, I’m very sorry for your loss.

Mike, I don't know what to say...you gave more than most brothers would give. I am sorry that I can't be there during this time of sorrow, but please know that John blessed all of us with his infinate wisdom and laughter of the superlative form...my memories, even though only shared for a brief time during high school and sports, are enough to keep a smile and "John Christ grin" burned in my memory until I am lucky enough to again someday share a story, a beer, a laugh or a cry with John. Thanks for your...everything John.

Nuala,
Trying to think of the right words to say to a family at this time is so hard. What pops into my mind over and over is what a remarkable gift you have given to Liam and Maeve. You have shown them the true meaning of Love. Through your caring and compassion they have learned what it means to be devoted to your partner. In good times and in bad, in sickness and in helth. Those are the vows we take and most of us are never challenged to prove that we mean them. You were, and you met the challenge with grace and dignity. May your memories always be close to your heart and may God Bless you,Liam and Maeve

"LIFE IS BUT A STOPPING PLACE"
Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be, a resting place along the road to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys, different paths along the way, we all were meant to learn somethings, but never meant to stay...
Our destintation is a place far greater than we know. For some, the journey's quicker, for some, the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord.
To the Christ Family; may the Lord give you strength in your time of need.
