John was my Mentor, and my friend. He took charge of my career in 1977 and guided me through many difficult times. I will remember John as a kind and gentle man, as well as a strong leader. Moreover, I will remember John's strong feelings for and dedication to family and friends. While we have all suffered a great loss, we are so much better because John played such a big part in our lives.
