I loved hearing the stories from Howard about your fishing escapades growing up and as teen agers. You sure got into some shenanigans. You'll be sorely missed and memories will help sustain us.

Joe brought such joy to the folks at the Silvermont congregate meal site. They loved for him to come and play. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye. Praying for his family.

Very deeply saddened upon hearing of his passing. As a coworker and later an understanding dear friend, he was always caring, nurturing, supportive and encouraging at times when I needed it most. He could often sense my state of mind and knew what to say to comfort or encourage me. And all those quips and comments that could sting for a moment, designed to keep you humble and on track with reality. I'm relieved to know his passing was peaceful and that he is with Susan whom he adored and was missing terribly. I will certainly miss our talks - until we meet again. Sincere condolences to Beth, Anthony and family. Rest in Peace Joe!

Hey Joe, I pray in my heart that you are at peace, reunited with Sue & all of your passed loved ones. Perhaps you are playing beautiful piano or eating pasta with my brother Tony -
You were a man with many different sides to you, but I will always remember your beautiful music, often singing alongside as you played.
I just found more of your recorded CD’s -
And am once again enjoying your gift.
May you keep on playing those great tunes & bring smiles to all who are with you. Louise

My Cousin Joey, was always a jokester who kept you in stitches or would scare the living heck out of you!!! As a youngster, I remember one time, my family and I went to visit my Grandma Fazio and Aunt Rose. Since, no one answered the door, we walked in and when my Dad turned on the kitchen light, you´d never guess who was sitting in the dark awaiting for someone to turn on the light!!! Over the years, I noticed that his facial expressions would give him away. So, you would know that he was up to something. I will miss him dearly!!!
I hope you enjoy the picture!!!

To Tony and Tracy, and Beth:
Since I did not live in Florida, the most amount of time I spent with your dad was during the family gatherings at the "cottage" when I was young. He was the favorite uncle of all the cousins. When beach time was over and we had run out of quarters for Italian ice cups, and Noni's chicken cacciatore dinner was still two hours away, we kiddos became restless. Your dad would gather us together and pull out his guitar. He would go around the circle and sing a little song about each one of us. I no longer remember the songs, but I still remember how special he made me feel!
God bless you Uncle Joey! May you be at peace in heaven, playing music with the angels!!
Sending you our love and support!

Sincere sympathy to the Fazio family. Joe was a wonderful man and neighbor who took the time to befriend two young neighborhood kids, my brother Tommy and I, in Hartford, CT. He was a great influence in the short time we knew this kind man. Rest in peace Joe Fazio

I will never forget this first time I met Joe years ago. He was playing the keyboard for one of our meetings at Little River Community center. Never dreaming he was the father of our now son in law Anthony. Sure enjoyed the times we all ate togather over the past year. He will be missed at our family gatherings!

I will miss the familiarity & ease that some kids are lucky enough to have with their dad that extends long into adulthood even when the years haven’t always been kind. You taught me so many thingshow to play the piano, which I hated and how to cuss, which I still love. You made sure I knew how to stand up for myself & I practiced that skill on you countless times! Thank you for always making me kiss your cheek in front of my friends. 50 years of memories fill my head and heart. Our inside jokes will give me a reason to always smile when I think of you. Rest easy, Dad. I love you.

PopPop,
I wish it hadn’t been so long since I had seen you. I miss when I was younger and we had those fun times together eating breakfast and cracking jokes. I have always appreciated the homemade and thoughtful gifts sent from you to me and have them still. The great memories will be in my heart forever. Rest in peace and you will be missed dearly. Love you

I never knew him for very long. But the time I did he was a joy to be around. He apparently loved someone to cut up as much as he did. Will miss his smart replies to my emails and texts.

I’m so sorry to hear of joes passing, we all enjoyed his sense of humor and his kindness. He always thought to invite someone to our holiday celebrations when they were down and out or had no family. We had some good times at our family gatherings eating , laughing and just spending the times together. You will be missed dearly by all of your family and friends especially your furry ones. We will all meet again some day for another family gathering and catch up on the time past. I love you and will miss you!!!
