Joseph Edward Kenyon

1956 - 2021

Joseph Edward Kenyon, 64, of East Hartford passed away on Sunday January 31st, 2021. Born February 8th, 1956, he was the son of Frederick Kenyon and Adell (Ramoska) Kenyon. Joe was born in Hartford, and grew up in East Hartford. Joe was a graduate of Penney High School, Class of 1974, and Manchester Community College. He was part owner of Projects Inc. in Glastonbury CT, and was employed there for over 45 years. He is survived by his wife Connie, of 38 years, his son Andrew, and his wife Lilly, son Matthew, daughter Taylor, and his two grandsons William and Charles. He is also survived by his brother Frederick Michael, and his sisters Patricia and Andrea. Joe was a member of the Free Masons Columbia Lodge 25, in Glastonbury CT. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with friends and family, and spending time outdoors, especially at the family cottage in Cape Cod. He was a great cook and enjoyed gardening, making meals for his family almost every night. One of his greatest joys was spending Sundays surrounded by loved ones watching football, cheering especially hard for his beloved Seahawks. Joe greeted everyone with a warm smile and joyous spirit and he will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. The calling hours will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at Rose Hill Funeral Homes, located at 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill CT.
