Dear Linda, Mike and Family;

Sometimes we can't know why some things happen, but we know that love and beautiful memories outlast the pain and grief. Also, we know that there is a place inside the heart where love lives always and where nothing beautiful will never be forgotten. In my life, I am honored to have cross path with Mr. Mathieu. He was a proud man and full of life. He knew so much in general. Proudly, he spoke to me about how he served this country, where this allows us to live free day after day. He loved to make you laugh with many of his jokes. I could never understand how he could remember so many of them. He even told me jokes two days before his passing and we both laugh. Some were events that happened in his lifetime, when others were fictions. You were never bored talking to him. I learned so much about life from such a great legacy. He spoke about his family that he missed and loved them all so dearly, which some of you I don't even know. He will be miss by all of us. Today, he is an angel so hold down to him dearly in your hearts forever.

With saying that, may your memories comfort you and may hope bring you a brighter tomorrow.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincere sympathy;
