Rosemarie, Jr. and Bobby,

I was saddened to learn only today of your dad's death. He and your mom were my Godparents. As a child, I remember well their kindness and warmth. I pray that the strength of your faith will overcome the burden of your sorrow. My parents must be so happy to be seeing him again!

Dear Vinci Family,
It is hard to believe that Middletown has lost one of its greatest treasures, Papa Joe. His focus was always on his beloved family, his friends, his church and his business. He was driven to serve the pubic and his church. Papa Joe was a people's person, a natural leader and a gentle spirit.
There is really no way to assuage the grief that so many will feel at this time; however, know he is with God and is at peace.
Our deepest condolences to the Vinci family.
With sadness,
Jody and Harry Dumeer

I never actually met Joseph, but heard a lot about him through his son, Bob Vinci, who established a group known as the Meditation Man for the past 40 years in Middletown. As Bob has always been very receptive and embracing in his club, welcoming members from all over, so too, I feel that his dad, Joseph was a wonderful person with a variety of traits, along with a sense of humor. He lived for 105 years - incredible - and seemed to enjoy life right to the very end. Bob and his family can take comfort that God will take good care of their dad and meditating could reunite the family with Joseph in that eternal after life known as Heaven.
