Thank you Dr.Weiss, you were the only doctor who helped my brother and I. My Mom wrote you a thank you letter years ago. I was just calling you to make an appointment and found out you had moved to the next realm. Say "hi" to my father Gary for me. I will miss you.

Sorry to hear of Dr. Weiss's illness. Great guy. We would always discuss travel, especially I think his favorite place, Chamonix, France. I will remember him always and I will continue to wear my sunscreen and a hat....

Dr Weiss was one of my favorite Doctor's. He would check the moles and spots and say everything is okay and are you wearing your sunscreen? He was fast when he came in the room but we did chat a little. I was so sorry to hear that he was sick and i just heard that Doctor Weiss passed away. Heartfelt condolences to your family. Thank you and God bless you Doctor Weiss. I am really going to miss you Doctor Weiss.

Dr. Weiss was my absolute favorite doctor for over 25 years. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family for the loss of such an incredible doctor and family man. He was such a busy doctor but would always take the time and extend his friendship and concern on all of my visits, never forgetting about my little boy that died in an accident. From early twenties breakouts and melanoma to forty-something wrinkles, he chuckled at my concerns and how they reminded him of his daughter, and fix me up. The next generation was served when I brought my 15 year old daughter in crying over severe breakouts, and I assured her through her tears, if anybody can fix it, its Dr. Weiss. And sure enough he did. I sure am going to miss him. ❤

I first met Joe and Arlene when they visited New Britain coming from his training in Albany New York. He had an infectious personality, always looking towards the positive in life. Loved travel, hiking and friendship. I was privileged to be a colleague, friend and have him consult on patients and my own family.
I missed him on returning to South Africa and he will be sorely missed. Our sincerest condolences to Arlene and the family, wish you all long life

Joe was a friend and colleague who took wonderful care of the patients I referred to him. I will always remember him as cordial friendly man who was a credit to medicine and dermatology. I share in the grief that his family must be experiencing and send the love of my wife Aimee and myself to Arlene and has children.

Dr. Weiss was my dermatologist since I was a kid. I am now 54 years old. He was referred to my Mom as the best, by my pediatrician Dr.Perrry in Bristol. I have dry skin and flare ups with exema, but the only advantage to all of it was meeting and being treated by Dr. Joseph Weiss, he knew what to do all the time, and when you called his number out of office hours, he ALWAYS called you back. You will be missed Dr. Joseph Weiss, and thankyou for taking care of me for so many years. Rest in Peace, Linda Gabriele (Bayer)

Oh my....Dr. Joe was the only Dr. I have ever had in my life that was attentive, helpful and to the point. Never seeking anything more from me than what I went to see him for. A man tried and true, stern and loving at the same time. God Bless him and his dedication. Taken too soon from us.

Dr Weiss was my doctor for the past 30 years and my parents before me. What a knowledgeable man for not only his discipline but knew so much about other medical situations. As contemporaries we had great discussions during my office visits 2-3 times a year.
He was appreciative of his staff and from what I saw treated them with dignity and respect.
They don't make doctors like this anymore. I will miss him.

Wow,
What a great man that we lost.
I met doc over 10 years ago and I miss him
already. How could a nice gentleman leave so soon when all he did was to help others.
Doc Weiss was the best bar none. His family
lost a wonderful man. May he rest in peace.

I started going to Dr. Weiss when he opened his office Downtown New Britain. He was a great Dr. I enjoyed our many talks about our family and children. He will be sadly missed by me and many of his patients. Hugs and prayers to his family at this time.

I first met Dr. Weiss when I was only 19 and had my first appointment with him at his office in New Britain. That was 24 years ago...
Dr Weiss was the coolest doctor. He was witty, sarcastic, and talk about resourceful..He knew everything about his craft and then some.
Dr. Weiss loved to laugh and make jokes about himself.
I always found myself laughing as I left his office and will always remember that about him.
Dr. Weiss you were the BEST dermatologist and will be truly missed...
My sincerest heartfelt condolences go out to your family and all who loved and admired you.
Love from Sasha Howard and family
