Juliette Forcier Obituary



M. A. Juliette (Barrieau) Forcier passed away peacefully on January 22, 2016 at Hartford Hospital at the age of 91. Born in New Bedford, Mass, on July 17, 1924 to Lydia (Lablanc) and Livian Barrieau. Juliette was a loving mother who had a quick wit and a charming and warm personality. In her prime, Juliette was a World Class Rollerskater where she competed at the National level. She is survived by a brother Gerard Barrieau and six children, Arthur and his wife Kimberly of Meriden; Gene and his wife Gina of Zephyrhills, Florida; Kenneth and his wife Kathy of Oxford; Claire and her husband Sean of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Theodore of Meriden and Denise Eldridge and her husband Bruce of Meriden. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Kristi Ullman, Matthew Forcier, Jennifer Jarrell, Joel Cabrera, Katie Forcier, Andrew Forcier, Nicole Eldridge and Julia Eldridge. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren, Conor, Liam and Ella Ullman, Christian Davidson, Nora and Layne Forcier and Grayson Forcier; many nieces and nephews. Juliette was predeceased by one brother and five sisters and one grandchild, Luke Forcier. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 6th and 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 22 Goodwill Ave, Meriden. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to the Bradley Home, 320 Colony St, Meriden, CT 06451, where Juliette spent ten wonderful years.
