FIRESTINE, June (Culver) June (Culver) Firestine, 84, of Windsor Locks, died Saturday, (December 25, 2004) at the Bickford Health Care Center. June was born in West Pittston, PA, daughter of the late Jay P. and Blodwen (Davies) Culver and has lived in Windsor Locks since 1951. She was a registered nurse at the Bickford Convalescent Home for many years before her retirement. She returned to Bickford's as a resident several years ago. Her husband John J. Firestine, Jr. died in 1995 and her son, John "Scott" Firestine died in 1996. June is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Firestine of Suffield; and a sister, Ethel Haggerty of Daytona Beach, FL. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks followed by interment in Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 12 Noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
