June Palmer Obituary

June M. Palmer, 82, of Woodstock, CT passed away July 6, 2023 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. She was born June 12, 1941 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late George and Bertha (Dorosz) Myketyn. June was the beloved wife of Ralph Palmer, her husband of over 60 years. They were married on January 26, 1963.

June was a Ceramics Instructor and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bingo and was a great golfer. She loved her vacations to Old Orchard Beach in Maine.

She leaves her husband Ralph Palmer of Woodstock, CT; her son-in-law Roger Romanelli; her grandchildren Danielle Romanelli and Anthony Romanelli; her cousins Sharron Mulvey, Michele Koss and Jackie Myketyn. She was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Romanelli on July 27, 2021.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT. Burial will follow in Quasset Cemetery, Woodstock, CT. Share a memory at www.smithandwalkerfh.com
