Kevin Martinelli Obituary

Kevin P. Martinelli, 55, of Bristol, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, June 19, 2015. He leaves behind his children, Aubri, Zachary and Linzy and his life partner of 18 years, Michelle O'Keefe. Kevin was born in New Smyrna Beach, FL on December 13, 1959 son of the late Martin J. and Alice M. (Laurendeau) Martinelli. He was presently the owner of Tri-Mar Manufacturing in Southington. To say Kevin was an avid golfer would be an understatement. He loved the game and played often at Rockledge Golf Club. He was also a member of the B.P.O. Elk's Lodge #1010 in Bristol and St. Matthew Church in Forestville. Kevin also enjoyed snowmobiling and hiking and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees. In addition to Michelle, he leaves his beloved children, Aubri Martinelli and Zachary Martinelli both of Bristol and Linzy Martinelli of Blacksburg, VA; brothers Martin P. Martinelli and his wife Pamela and Keith Martinelli and his wife Rachel; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother David E. Martinelli. The funeral will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol and will proceed to St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Forestville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd, Newington, CT 06111 (www.cthumane.org).
