Kyle Demers Obituary



Kyle Richard Demers, 20, of Southington passed away, unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 12, 2014.He was born August 28, 1993 in New Britain, the loving son of Elmer G. Demers of Wethersfield and Sue Ellen Daly of Southington. He was a graduate of Wilcox Tech and was employed at Acme Monaco in New Britain. Kyle worked at Karabin Farm since the age of 15 and regarded the Karabin family as his own. He loved to go hiking with his dog Charlie working on his diesel truck and dirt biking. Besides his parents he is survived by his sisters Sarah and Allison Demers of Southington and step siblings Stephen and Marissa Gulioso of Wethersfield. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kyle was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Mary and Richard Daly and Paternal grandparents Martha and Omer. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday 3-7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kyle's memory to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd. My deepest condolences to Kyle's entire family. I had Kyle as a student in first grade. I will always remember his endearing smile. As I would be driving home after leaving the school, he would always wave and share that smile, for almost fifteen years. The world has lost a fine young man.
