So sorry for your loss. Laurie was not only a great lawyer but a truly great man. His energy, curiosity, dedication to others, and love of life was second only to his love of family. He will live on in them.

Beverly and I send our deepest sympathy on Laurie's passing. The years at 843 and 555 Main Street were some of the best years of my life because of Laurie. I know that Elliot, Tom and Joanne would agreed. He was fun to be with, in the office, at Shady Glen for many lunches and expecially as he led the office with the highest standards of integrity and a very intensive interest in the law. We all learned a great deal from Laurie. He had strong relationships with his clients which made many of them friends as well. I have missed his presence, his eagerness to tackle any issue in the law or otherwise, his alert nature and sense of humor which helped all of us to manage the periods of boredom inherent in the practice. I have missed his presence since I retired. May all of you who he loved deeply be sustained in this time of grief by the memories of Laurie and may these memories be a blessing.

Mike and I have the fondest memories of Laurie; from our wedding in Birmingham, to Fisher's and to Vero. His zest for life was infectious, and his positive glowing outlook to be admired and emulated. He will be missed greatly. Sending much love to the Family.

My deepest condolences to Laurie´s friends and family. Laurie and I went to Mount Hermon together and we became fast friends over music and the Hermon Knights. I remember a fun and exciting young man, passionate about jazz, fast cars, and becoming a useful grown up. And he became more than useful. He grew into a leader in his profession and devoted to family and charitable causes. I can´t say why we drifted apart as we got older, but I never stopped loving him, cherishing the memories, and (silently) cheering for him whatever his endeavors.

Laurie was a true aristocrat of the spirit, in spite of being a dreadful golfer. We will miss his elegant intellect, keen wit and generous spirit greatly. Best wishes to his extended family.
