Leo Wilfred Estes

Leo Wilfred Estes, 65, of Lakeland, FL died Thursday, (July 4, 2002) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born January 18, 1937 in Hanover, NH. He moved to Florida six years ago from Old Lyme. He was a retired Teacher. He was Founder and President of Dart Association of Connecticut; lifetime member of N.E.A.; past President of Old Saybrook Education Association of Old Saybrook; member of the Board of Directors of Big Cypress Mens Golf Association. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Estes; son, Keith Estes of Lebanon, NH; daughters Karen Dennis of Lebanon, NH and Patti Friedman of Hartford, VT; brother, George Estes Jr., of Venice, FL; and five grandchildren. Gathering of family and friends Sunday, July 7, 3 p.m. at Cypress Lakes, Main St, Lakeland, FL. It is the request of the family in lieu of flowers memorial to the American Cancer Association, 108 South Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801.
