Once a week for a good ten years or more, I sat at your dining room table with Linda and two of our mutual friends. We gathered to give feedback on each other's writing. The conversation was always productive. Linda was a skilled writer and generous with her observations and suggestions. Linda always served bagels, cream cheese, and coffee. She taught me how to grind the beans and brew a truly satisfying cup. Shortly after you called to let me know she had died, I put a coffee beans on my windowsill. I see them every morning. And every morning, I remember my friend. Love to you.

I was terribly sorry to learn Linda had passed. There was a time in the 80s we were playing "non-profit tag," each working for various non-profits and active in the Hartford scene. We were both also writers and I enjoyed knowing her for those years. May memories of happier days sustain you, her friends and neighbors now and in the future.

This is a wonderful obituary to a wonderful woman. Linda made you feel like a whole person when in her presence. You always went away feeling you gained something special. I didn´t know about the music. I loved that she sang responses to questions. Priceless. My heart goes out to dear Al.
