Our sincere condolences go out to the family of Lois Caffrey, a sister to our friends, George and Josephine Caffrey. Though I was younger and didn't know Lois personally, I did deliver the family's newspaper in my youth. My elder sister was a school friend of Lois. I later worked with and for George at Meriden PD and we have managed to continue our friendship.
Words cannot heal the pain which loved ones must endure at times as these. Our prayers go forth for the repose of Lois' soul, and may her loved ones be comforted in the Lord's promise of eternal life for all the faithful. May she find eternal rest.
