Happy 86th birthday You´d certainly have plenty to say if you were still here, lol --- delivering those insights with that perfect mix of humor, passion, and...exasperation. Your uncanny ability to see the bigger picture, to recognize what others overlooked? Well, you weren´t wrong. I imagine you are experiencing the mysteries of the Universe with kindred spirits, exploring the infinite wonders you longed to know while still here. In loving memory of a brilliant and exquisitely sensitive woman.

Though she may not have been an artist in the traditional sense, the artistry of her conversations was unparalleled. They were like brushstrokes, and she could create masterpieces. It was as if she possessed a magical touch, because of her uncanny ability to connect with others on such a deep level.

She had an innate sense of knowing when someone needed a listening ear, a kind word, or a thoughtful gift. Her ability to make others feel better was nothing short of extraordinary.

However, it was her sensitivity that truly set her apart, and being exquisitely sensitive can be a double-edged sword. While sensitivity allows one to experience the world with heightened emotions and awareness, it can also make it challenging to navigate a world that may not always understand or appreciate that sensitivity. Especially since Lule had a depth of understanding that went beyond what most people could perceive.

Rest in peace, dear Mom, our beloved confidante. Your words continue to echo in our hearts, your insights resonate within us always, and we remain forever grateful for your unique, and often astoundingly accurate, perspective.

I can't believe it's been a year since Aunt Lule moved on. She was one of the most thoughtful, intelligent, and interesting people I've had in my life. Her sense of humor was my favorite, always able to laugh at herself. Rest well, sweet Lule. Love, JA.

On the wings of a dove her spirit takes flight
Rising over and above, it is an amazing sight
We may weep and we may smile, Our hearts fill with love
Imagine her spirit to fly, Wind catching beneath her wings
Flying higher and higher into the sky and beyond
It is now both with peace and with love
Goodbye Mom
On the wings of a dove.
