BASS, Lynette A. (Yush) Lynette A. (Yush) Bass of West Hartford lost her battle to cancer the morning of Wednesday, (December 14, 2005) surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hartford on January 28, 1926 she was the daughter of Edward and Sarah Yush. She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Jack Bass. Lynette was a graduate of Weaver High School in 1944. she was a simple and elegant lady, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. For those who knew her, nothing more needs to be said. Besides her husband Jack, she is survived by two children Susan Kaufman and her husband Jonathan of Columbia and Harris Bass and his wife Margaret of Manhattan Beach, CA, and two cherished grandchildren. Sheila and Robert Kaufman. Lynette also leaves many nieces and nephews from her predeceased sisters and brothers; Evelyn Lappen, Sadie Goldberg, Rose Snyde, David Yush, Louis Yush, Leonard Yush and Benjamin Yush and very many wonderful cousins and friends. A graveside funeral service for the immediate family and close friends will be held TODAY December 15 at 1 p.m. at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby (Route 189 N. to Floydville Rd. in E. Granby, left onto Wolcott Rd.). Rabbi Raphael Friedman will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in her honor may be made to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford. Funeral arrangements provided by the Hebrew Funeral Association, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford.
